The purpose of Special Operations Bass Anglers is to bring awareness to the outdoor community regarding fallen Special Operations Forces and their families. This is our way to embrace and memorialize the survivors, our heroes, and their families. Our commitment to a cause higher than one’s self, the will to sacrifice time in order to honor those who have paid the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom. Each member of Special Operations Bass Anglers, will engage the public and media in a manner that is beneficial to Special Operations Bass Anglers and the special mission it provides to the fallen heroes within the United States Special Operations Community.
The Mark McCowan Memorial tournament
Every year around Veterans Day, we run the annual Mark McCowan Memorial Tournament (3MT). Last year, 61 boats attended, making it our best year yet!
The primary mission of the 3MT is to fundraise for a charity chosen by the spouse of a fallen Special Operations soldier.
